For Contest Hosts
How much does it cost to host a contest?
You set your own prize amount based on your budget. We recommend starting from $299 for memorial videos and $499 for commercial videos. There are no platform fees - the prize amount you set goes directly to the winner.
What if I don't like any submissions?
You have full control over winner selection. If no submission meets your requirements, contact our support team. We'll help mediate the situation and can extend the contest deadline or adjust requirements.
How long should my contest run?
Typically 7-14 days is recommended. This gives AI artists enough time to understand your brief and create quality submissions. You can set your own deadline when creating the contest.
Do I get full rights to the winning video?
Yes, once you select a winner and the prize is awarded, you receive full commercial rights to use the video for any purpose. The winning artist transfers all ownership to you.
Can I edit my contest after posting?
Yes, you can update contest details like description, requirements, and deadlines. However, changing the prize amount after deposits have been made requires contacting our support team.
For AI Artists
How do I get paid if I win?
Prize money is automatically transferred to your PayPal account within 1-3 business days after you're selected as the winner. Make sure your PayPal email is correctly entered in your submission.
Is my payment guaranteed?
Yes! Only participate in contests showing “🟡 Securely Held” status. This means the prize money is already deposited and locked in our escrow system. Payment is 100% guaranteed for winners.
What AI tools can I use?
You can use any AI video generation tools including Runway, Pika, Sora, Kling, or any other platform. What matters is the quality and creativity of your final video, not the specific tool used.
How do I submit my entry?
Upload your video to YouTube (public or unlisted) and submit the link through our platform. Include your email, phone number, and a description of your work. One submission per contest.
What happens to my submission if I don't win?
You retain full ownership of non-winning submissions. You're free to use, modify, or sell your work elsewhere. Only the winning video rights transfer to the contest host.
Payment & Security
How does the escrow system work?
When a host creates a contest, they deposit the prize money into our secure hold. These funds are locked and cannot be accessed by anyone until a winner is announced. This protects both parties - hosts know the money is safe, artists know payment is guaranteed.
What if there's a dispute?
Our team reviews disputes within 48 hours. Both parties submit evidence and explanations. Decisions are based on contest rules and submission quality. If rules were unclear, we protect the creator. Contact jun@supahit.net for any disputes.
Reddit Community
How does r/AIVideoContest integration work?
Hundrr is built to support the r/AIVideoContest subreddit community. Submissions are shared on Reddit where the community can upvote and comment on their favorites. This provides unbiased third-party feedback to help contest hosts make informed decisions.
However, Reddit votes are advisory only - the final winner selection is always made by the contest host. You can consider community feedback or make your own independent decision.
